Authentic Community

Coming to church is good. It is important. However, we do not want anyone to feel like just another face in a crowd. In order to grow as a Christian, or even to begin a new life of faith, you need community.

We have small groups that meet throughout Haldimand/Norfolk. These groups are designed to ask deep questions and to draw you closer to a small group of 5-10 people.

To sign up or to request more information, just click on the picture of the group you are interested in.

    CULTURE SHOCK by Chip Ingram
If there ever was a time for Christians to understand and communicate God’s truth about controversial and polarizing issues, it is now. More than ever before, believers must develop convictions based on research, reason, and biblical truth. But it doesn’t stop there. It’s equally important that you’re able (and willing) to communicate these convictions with a love and respect that reflects God’s own heart.
This series will help you learn how to respond with love, even in the face of controversy. In the process, you’ll discover the power of bringing light – not heat – to the core issues at the heart of society today.

    FREEDOM by Hope City Church
It is for freedom that Christ set us free. That’s what Paul wrote in Galatians 5:1, and Jesus Himself said that He came to earth so that we may have life and have it too the full (John 10:10). Just imagine that: Life abundant. Not barely surviving, but truly living. It means days filled with hope, joy and purpose.
This is the kind of life God intended you to have.

  • Caledonia, Meets every other Thursday 7:30

There is an old Sunday School song that goes “Read your bible, pray every day and you will grow, grow, grow.” Pretty catchy song. Have you ever sat down and started to read the bible only to find that it is confusing, or worded in a way you do not understand?
In this study we look at “how” to read the bible in a way that will help you draw more meaning from it.
This study will take you through both the Old and New Testamets showing just how amazing and connected the word of God truly is!

  • Hamilton/Grimsby meets every other friday 7-9, oct 18

    The Purpose Driven Life
The most basic question everyone faces in life is Why am I here? What is my purpose? Self-help books suggest that people should look within, at their own desires and dreams, but Rick Warren says the starting place must be with God and his eternal purposes for each life. Real meaning and significance comes from understanding and fulfilling God's purposes for putting us on earth.
We were planned for God's pleasure.  We were formed for God's family.  We were created to become like Christ.  We were shaped for serving God.  We were made for a mission.
